PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Infusion of fennel fruits.
Has a carminative, spasmolytic, and expectorant effect. It has weak diuretic properties, promotes strengthening of lactation. Pharmacological properties of the drug are due, to a large extent, reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive nerve endings of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract.
INDICATIONS

- flatulence (as a carminative agent);

- intestinal colic;

- expectorant in complex therapy for inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract (tracheitis, bronchitis, pneumonia, whooping cough).

DOSING MODE

About 10 grams (1.5 tablespoons) of fruit are placed in enameled dishes, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed.
The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water. Infusion taken orally in a warm form 3-4 times / day:
adults and children over 12 years - 1/3 cup;

children from 7 to 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons;

children from 3 to 6 years - 1 tablespoon;

children up to 3 years - 1 / 2-1 teaspoon.

Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

- Hypersensitivity.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

The use of the drug during pregnancy and during lactation is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.Consultation of the doctor is necessary.

APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN

children from 7 to 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons;

children from 3 to 6 years - 1 tablespoon;

children up to 3 years - 1 / 2-1 teaspoon.
