PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Antimalarial drug, disrupts the exchange of folic acid plasmodium. Has no hypoglycemic effect. Effective against toxoplasm.
INDICATIONS
Prevention and treatment:

DOSING MODE

SIDE EFFECT

DRUG INTERACTION
Incompatible with trimethoprim or combinations of trimethoprim and sulfonamides (possibly increased folate deficiency with appropriate hematological changes).
