PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

NSAIDs from the group of indazoles for topical application in ENT practice and in dentistry.
Has anti-inflammatory and local analgesic effect. The mechanism of action of the drug is associated with the stabilization of cell membranes and the inhibition of the synthesis of prostaglandins.
When applied locally, the drug is well absorbed through the mucous membranes and penetrates into inflamed tissues.

PHARMACOKINETICS

Benzimidine is excreted by the kidneys and through the intestines.

INDICATIONS

Inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity and ENT organs:

- gingivitis, glossitis, stomatitis (including after radiation and chemotherapy);

- angina, pharyngitis, laryngitis, tonsillitis;

Candidiasis (as part of combination therapy);

- calculous inflammation of the salivary glands;

- after surgical interventions and traumas (including tonsillectomy, jaw fractures);

- after treatment or removal of teeth;

- Parodontosis.

With infectious and inflammatory diseases, the use of Tantum Verde in the combination therapy is necessary.

DOSING MODE

Tablets for resorption appoint 1 tab.
3-4 times / day.
A topical solution is used for 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of mouthwash or throat every 1.5-3 h to relieve pain.
After rinsing, the solution must be spit out.
Adults (including elderly people) are prescribed 4-8 doses of spray every 1.5-3 hours. Children aged 6-12 years - 4 doses;
Children younger than 6 years of age are given a dose of 1 dose for every 4 kg of body weight (maximum 4 doses) every 1.5-3 hours.
SIDE EFFECT

Local reactions: dry mouth, numbness, burning in the mouth.

Allergic reactions: skin rash.

Other: drowsiness.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- Children under 12 years of age (for topical solution);

- phenylketonuria (for tablets);

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

It is possible to use the drug during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding) according to the indications.

APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN

The drug is contraindicated for children under 12 years (for a solution for topical application).

Children aged 6-12 years - 4 doses;
Children younger than 6 years of age are given a dose of 1 dose for every 4 kg of body weight (maximum 4 doses) every 1.5-3 hours.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Avoid contact with the eyes.

If a burning sensation occurs during application of the solution, the solution should be diluted 2 times with water by adjusting the water level to the risks in the graduated cup.

OVERDOSE

At present, no cases of an overdose of Tantum Verde were reported.

DRUG INTERACTION

Clinically significant drug interaction of the drug Tantum Verde has not been established.

The drug is approved for use as a means of OTC.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STORAGE

The drug should be stored in a place protected from light, inaccessible to children, at a temperature of no higher than 25 В° C.
Shelf life - 4 years.
