PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Cholagogue preparation of plant origin.
Tanaceol is derived from the flowers of tansy Tanacetum Vulgare L. of the Asteraceae family of asteroids. Strengthens the formation and secretion of bile, contributes to a change in its biochemical composition. Has spasmolytic effect on the gallbladder, bile duct and intestine.
INDICATIONS

Adults as cholagogue and antispasmodic:

- with chronic non-calculous cholecystitis;

- with dyskinesia of biliary tract along the hypermotor type;

- with postcholecystectomy syndrome.

DOSING MODE

The drug is prescribed for 1-2 tablets.
3-4 times / day. The course of treatment is 20-30 days.
Tablets should be taken 15-20 minutes before meals.

SIDE EFFECT

Possible: allergic reactions.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- cholelithiasis;

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Adequate and strictly controlled studies of the safety of the drug during pregnancy and lactation were not conducted.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

According to clinical studies, Tanacezhol effectively cures symptoms associated with impaired motor function of the intestine and biliary tract, in patients with irritable bowel syndrome, which occurs with a predominance of constipation, in combination with dysfunction of the gallbladder and ducts.

OVERDOSE

Symptoms: may increase the side effects of the drug.

Treatment: withdrawal of the drug, symptomatic therapy.

DRUG INTERACTION

Perhaps an appointment in conjunction with drugs used in gastroenterology (including enzymes, antacid drugs).

The drug is approved for use as a means of OTC.
