PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug, antimicrobial, keratolytic, local irritant effect.
Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that acts bacteriostatically, disrupting the process of protein synthesis in a microbial cell, suppressing its growth and multiplication.
Salicylic acid has antimicrobial, "distracting", irritating and keratolytic action.
Ethanol has a disinfectant effect.
INDICATIONS
- Purulent wound infection;
- burns (superficial and limited deep);
- pressure sores;
- trophic ulcers;
- infected wounds.
DOSING MODE
External, damaged areas are treated with a cotton swab dipped in solution.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions; with prolonged use and application on extensive surfaces salicylic acid has a resorptive effect.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
hypersensitivity;
- psoriasis;
- eczema;
- fungal skin lesions;
- CRF;
- lactation period (treatment of mammary glands in nursing mothers);
- childhood;
- Pregnancy.
