PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined haemostatic agent for topical application.
Calcium alginate has a high sorption ability and a large contact surface, and also provides the necessary calcium concentration in the wound zone; is the basis for the formation of a thrombus.
Oak bark extract coagulates plasma proteins and has an anti-inflammatory effect.
Upon contact with the wound surface of calcium, the alginate and tanning substances of the oak cortex provide a rapid formation of a thrombus, providing a hemostatic effect.
Aminocaproic acid, inhibiting fibrinolysis, prevents secondary bleeding.
Extracts of nettle, yarrow, St. John's wort, horsetail activate the reparative processes in the wound.
Chlorhexidine - antiseptic, prevents the development of infection in the wound.
INDICATIONS
- external capillary and venous bleeding.
DOSING MODE
Outerly, once. The packet with the drug is opened immediately before use and immediately after drying the wound surface, the powder is applied evenly, then pressed with a gauze cloth until the bleeding stops completely.
On wounds with low bleeding intensity, the drug can be used without first drying the wound surface with a gauze napkin and without further pressing it with the drug layer.
If the thickness of the powder layer is insufficient, the surface may be incurvated blood. In this case, you should raise the gauze pad and add additional amount of the drug to the bleeding areas, and then press it down again.
