PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

A drug that improves trophic and tissue regeneration for external use.
It has a regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effect.
Dexpanthenol in the body forms an active metabolite - pantothenic acid, which is an integral part of coenzyme A, participates in the processes of acetylation, the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats, the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins.
It stimulates regeneration of the skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers.
PHARMACOKINETICS

When topical application is rapidly absorbed and converted to pantothenic acid.
It binds to plasma proteins (mainly with beta-globulin and albumin).
The concentration of pantothenic acid in the blood is 0.5-1 mg / l, in the serum - 100 μg / l.

In the body, pantothenic acid is not metabolized (except for inclusion in CoA), is excreted unchanged.
