PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined antibacterial agent with a broad spectrum of action, bacteriostatic.
Tetracycline is active against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms, and the presence of Oleandomycin in the preparation determines its high activity against a number of Gram-positive cocci, incl. Staphylococcus spp., Resistant to benzylpenicillin, tetracycline and other antibiotics.
The benefits of the drug also include a much slower development of resistance of microorganisms to the combination than to each of them separately.

DOSING MODE
Inside, adults - to 0.25 g 4 times / day; the maximum daily dose is 2 g. Children older than 8 years - in a daily dose of 20-30 mg / kg; the frequency of reception is 4 times.
In / m, daily intake for adults - 0.2-0.3 g; the frequency of administration is 2-3 times. For children older than 8 years, the daily dose is 10-20 mg / kg. In / in jet,adults - 0.2-0.3 g in distilled or bidistilled water; rate of administration - 2 ml / min. In / in drip - 0.1% solution in 0.9% solution of sodium chloride or in a 5% solution of dextrose at a rate of 60 cap / min.
The course of treatment is 5-10 days, depending on the severity of the disease.
SIDE EFFECT
Nausea, vomiting, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, constipation or diarrhea, dysphagia, glossitis, esophagitis, allergic reactions (skin rash, itching, eosinophilia).
With prolonged use: candidiasis, intestinal dysbacteriosis, development of vitamin B and K deficiency in the body, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolytic anemia, increased activity of "liver" transaminases, hypercreatininaemia, azotemia; hyperbilirubinemia, photosensitivity.

DRUG INTERACTION
Medicines and foods containing Ca 2+ , Al 3+ and / or Mg 2+ , Fe (antacids, preparations of Fe, milk and dairy products), reduce absorption.
