PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Has antiviral activity, blocking the binding sites of the influenza virus (predominantly type A2) to the surface of the cell membrane, protects cells from penetrating the virus.
INDICATIONS
- prevention of influenza;
- viral skin diseases;
- Viral rhinitis.
DOSING MODE
Nasally.
Prevention of influenza and treatment of viral rhinitis: lubrication of 0.25% ointment of the nasal mucosa 2-3 times / day.
Outwardly.
Apply to affected skin 2-3 times / day. To remove the warts , 3% ointment is applied 2-3 times / day for 2 weeks - 2 months. After applying the ointment, wax paper is applied from above.
SIDE EFFECT
When applying nasal Oksolin ointment in some cases, there is a rapid burning sensation of the nasal mucosa, rhinorrhea.
When applying the ointment to the pathologically altered skin, a burning sensation may also appear.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- individual intolerance of the drug and its components.
