Active substance: triphosadenine

Type: A drug that improves myocardial metabolism, used in paroxysmal supraventricular tachyarrhythmias

Producer: NGO MIKROGEN (Russia)
Description of the active substance:
This information is a reference and it is not enough that the drug has been prescribed by a doctor ..

Means that improve metabolism and energy supply of tissues.
ATP is a natural component of body tissues - it participates in many metabolic processes. In the decay of ATP to ADP and inorganic phosphate, the energy necessary for muscle contraction and various biochemical processes is released. ATP is involved in the transmission of excitation in adrenergic and cholinergic synapses, facilitates the transmission of excitation from the vagus nerve to the heart. Apparently, ATP is one of the mediators that excite adenosine receptors. It enhances cerebral and coronary circulation, contributes to the increase of peripheral circulation.
Trifosadenin is an adenosine derivative.
Adenosine is an agonist of purinergic receptors, activation of which leads to inhibition of depolarization of the processes of electrical impulses in sinus and AV-nodes. This effect underlies the antiarrhythmic action of trifosadenin in supraventricular tachycardia. It acts briefly for a few seconds.
After parenteral administration, it penetrates into the cells of the organs, where it is split into adenosine and inorganic phosphate with the release of energy.Subsequently, decay products are included in the resynthesis of ATP.

Muscular dystrophy and atony, poliomyelitis, multiple sclerosis;
pigmentary degeneration of the retina; diseases of peripheral vessels (intermittent claudication, Raynaud's disease, thromboangiitis obliterans); suppression of paroxysms of supraventricular tachycardia, ischemic heart disease; weakness of labor.
Enter in / m and / in a stream.
The dose is set individually, depending on the indications.
With the / m introduction: possible headache, tachycardia, an increase in diuresis, hyperuricemia.

With IV introduction: nausea, hyperemia of the facial skin, headache, weakness are possible.

Allergic reactions: rarely - itching, skin hyperemia.

Acute myocardial infarction, arterial hypotension, inflammatory lung diseases, hypersensitivity to trifosadenin.

The simultaneous use of trifosadenin and cardiac glycosides in high doses is not recommended.

With simultaneous use with cardiac glycosides, the risk of side effects (including arrhythmogenic effect) increases.
