PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Combined drug for treating cough, has mucolytic and expectorant effect, and also has anti-inflammatory activity. The action of CodelacВ® Broncho is due to the pharmacological properties of its components.
Ambroxol has secretory, secretory and expectorant action, normalizes the disturbed ratio of serous and mucous components of sputum, increases the secretion of surfactant in the alveoli. Reduces the viscosity of sputum and promotes its spillage.
Glycyrrhate (glycyrrhizic acid and its salts) has anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects. Has a cytoprotective effect due to antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing activity. Potentiates the action of endogenous GCS, providing anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic action. Due to its pronounced anti-inflammatory activity, it helps to reduce the inflammatory process in the respiratory tract.
Extract of thermopsis has an expectorant effect, having a moderate irritant effect on the receptors of the gastric mucosa, reflexively increases the secretion of the bronchial glands.
Sodium bicarbonate shifts the pH of bronchial mucus to the alkaline side, reduces the viscosity of sputum, stimulates the motor function of the ciliated epithelium and bronchioles.

INDICATIONS
Diseases of the respiratory tract with difficulty of sputum discharge:
- Acute and chronic bronchitis;
- pneumonia;
- COPD;
bronchoectatic disease.
DOSING MODE
The drug should be taken orally during meals.
Adults and children over 12 years of age are prescribed 1 tablet 3 times / day.
It is not recommended to use the drug for more than 4-5 days without prescribing a doctor.
SIDE EFFECT
From the side of the central nervous system: rarely - weakness, headache.
From the digestive system: rarely - diarrhea, dry mouth, constipation; with prolonged use in high doses - gastralgia, nausea, vomiting.
From the respiratory system: rarely - dryness of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, rhinorrhea.
Other: rarely - dysuria, exanthema, allergic reactions.
CONTRAINDICATIONS

OVERDOSE
Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion.
