PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
The drug used for cataracts. Azazentacene protects the sulfhydryl groups of lens proteins from oxidation and promotes resorption of opaque proteins of the lens. It has an activating effect on proteolytic enzymes contained in the aqueous humor of the anterior chamber of the eye.
PHARMACOKINETICS
With topical application, systemic absorption is low.
INDICATIONS
Cataract:
- senile;
- traumatic;
- congenital;
- secondary.
DOSING MODE
The drug is instilled in 1-2 drops in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (or eyes) 3-5 times / day.
SIDE EFFECT
When applied according to the indications in the recommended doses, the side effect was not revealed.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.
PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
There is no sufficient experience in the use of Quinaks during pregnancy and lactation (breastfeeding). Quinax may be used in pregnant women and nursing mothers when the expected therapeutic effect exceeds the potential risk of side effects in the fetus or infant.
APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN
There is no sufficient experience in the use of Quinax in children. Possible use of Quinax in children in the case when the expected therapeutic effect exceeds the potential risk of development of possible side effects.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Quinax is for long-term therapy. It is not recommended to interrupt treatment even in case of rapid improvement.
Patients using contact lenses should use Quinax only with the lenses removed and can set them back 15 minutes after instillation of the drug.
After each use of the drug, it is necessary to close the bottle. Do not touch the tip of the dropper to the eye.
Use in Pediatrics
There is no sufficient experience in the use of Quinax in children. Possible use of Quinax in children in the case when the expected therapeutic effect exceeds the potential risk of development of possible side effects.
Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and manage mechanisms
Patients who, after instillation, are temporarily impaired vision, it is not recommended to drive a car or work with complicated equipment, machines or any other complex equipment that requires a clear vision, immediately after instillation of the drug.
OVERDOSE
In case of accidental ingestion, there are no overdose symptoms.
DRUG INTERACTION
Interaction with other drugs is not currently established.

List B. The drug should be stored out of reach of children at a temperature of 8 В° to 24 В° C. Shelf life - 3 years.
After opening the vial, the drug should be used within 1 month.
