PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Combined drug regulating the exchange of calcium and phosphorus in the body.
Reduces resorption (resorption) and increases the density of bone tissue, replenishing the lack of calcium and vitamin D 3 in the body.
Vitamin D 3 increases calcium absorption in the digestive tract and its binding in bone tissue.

The use of calcium and vitamin D 3 prevents the increase in the production of parathyroid hormone (PTH), which is a stimulator of increased bone resorption (calcium leaching from the bones).

Vitamin D 3 is absorbed in the small intestine.
Calcium is absorbed in ionized form in the proximal small intestine by means of an active D-vitamin dependent transport mechanism.
INDICATIONS

It is used as a therapeutic and prophylactic drug:

- to compensate for calcium and / or vitamin D deficiency in the period of intensive growth in adolescence and adolescence (to achieve maximum peak of bone mass), for women during pregnancy and lactation;
