PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Has spasmolytic, as well as moderate sedation.
The belladonna leaf has m-anticholinergic and spasmolytic effects. Prevents the stimulating effect of acetylcholine; reduces the secretion of salivary, gastric, bronchial, lacrimal, sweat glands, pancreas. Reduces the muscle tone of the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts and gallbladder; causes tachycardia, improves the atrioventricular conductivity. It dilates the pupils, hinders the outflow of the intraocular fluid, increases the intraocular pressure, causes paralysis of accommodation.
Valerian rhizome with roots has a sedative and spasmolytic effect. Facilitates the onset of natural sleep Sedation occurs slowly, but is fairly stable. Has a choleretic effect, increases the secretion of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, slows down the heart rhythm, dilates the coronary vessels. The influence on the activity of the heart is mediated through neuroregulatory mechanisms and a direct influence on automatism and the conduction system of the heart.
Wormwood bitter herb has a choleretic effect, increases appetite, stimulates acid production.
INDICATIONS
The drug is used as an antispasmodic agent for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, accompanied by spasms of smooth muscles (including chronic hypo- and anacid gastritis, chronic colitis, dyskinesia of the bile ducts).
DOSING MODE
Inside, adults are prescribed 15-25 drops per reception, previously diluted in a small amount of water, if necessary up to 3 times a day.
SIDE EFFECT
Allergic reactions are possible. With prolonged use, the appearance of dry skin and mucous membranes of the oral cavity, dilated pupils, heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, drowsiness, decreased efficiency, paresis of accommodation, depression.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, glaucoma, hyperacid gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during an exacerbation, children and adolescence (up to 18 years), prostatic hypertrophy with impairment of urine outflow.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
Do not take the drug daily for more than 1.5-2 months. During the treatment period, care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
The content of ethyl alcohol in the composition of the drug is not less than 60%. In a single dose of the drug (15-25 drops) contains up to 0.23 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol. The maximum daily dose of the drug (75 drops) contains up to 0.7 grams of absolute ethyl alcohol.
OVERDOSE
In case of an overdose, it is possible to intensify such side effects as: dry skin and mucous membrane of the oral cavity, dilated pupils, heartburn, gastralgia, diarrhea, drowsiness, decreased efficiency, tremor, headache, dizziness, convulsions.
Treatment: symptomatic.
DRUG INTERACTION
Strengthens the effect of hypnotics and sedatives, antispasmodics.
