PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT

Antiviral and immunomodulating medication for topical use.
Inductor synthesis of endogenous interferon. It has antioxidant, immunomodulatory and radioprotective action, accelerates the regeneration of the cornea.
PHARMACOKINETICS

With topical application (in the form of instillations into the conjunctival sac), para-aminobenzoic acid is rapidly absorbed.

INDICATIONS

- viral diseases of the eyes (including conjunctivitis and keratoconjunctivitis caused by the viruses Herpes simplex, Varicella zoster and adenoviruses);

- keratopathy of infectious, post-traumatic and post-operative genesis.

DOSING MODE

The drug is instilled in the conjunctival sac of the diseased eye with 1-2 drops 6-8 times / day.

After achieving the clinical effect, it is necessary to continue instillations of Aktipol 2 drops 3 times / day for 7 days.

SIDE EFFECT

Local reactions: rarely - allergic reactions, conjunctival hyperemia.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Adequate and strictly controlled clinical studies of the safety of the use of the drug Actipol during pregnancy and lactation were not conducted.

In experimental studies it was established that the drug does not have a teratogenic, mutagenic and embryotoxic effect.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Do not prescribe Actipol concurrently with sulfanilamide preparations for topical use.

OVERDOSE

With the occasional ingestion of the drug Actipol, there is no risk of unwanted side effects.

DRUG INTERACTION

When applied simultaneously with nucleoside inhibitors of reverse transcriptase (acyclovir, ganciclovir, APA-A, TFT) and antibiotics, the therapeutic effect of Actipol is noted.

The drug should be stored in a place protected from light, inaccessible to children, at a temperature not exceeding 40 В° C;
