Hypertensive sodium chloride solution with IV administration provides correction of osmotic pressure of extracellular fluid and blood plasma. With topical application in ophthalmology sodium chloride has anti-edematous effect.
INDICATIONS
Isotonic solution: dehydration of various genesis.
To maintain the volume of blood plasma during and after operations. As a solvent for various drugs.
Hypertonic solution: disturbances of water-electrolyte metabolism: deficiency of sodium and chlorine ions;
hypoosmolar dehydration of various genesis (due to prolonged vomiting, diarrhea, burns, with gastric fistula, pulmonary hemorrhage, intestinal bleeding).
Eye drops and ointment: irritation of the cornea in inflammatory and allergic diseases (in combination therapy).

DOSING MODE
Isotonic sodium chloride solution is administered IV, SC and in enemas, and also used for washing wounds, eyes, mucous nasal cavity.

The introduction of large amounts of solution can lead to chloride acidosis, hyperhydration, an increase in the excretion of potassium from the body.
Hypertonic solution is not applied sc and v / m.

With prolonged use, it is necessary to monitor the concentration of electrolytes in plasma and daily diuresis.
