Description of the drug approved by the manufacturer for the printed edition of 2011.
PHARMACHOLOGIC EFFECT
Adapalene is a metabolite of retinoid, it possesses comedonolytic and anti-inflammatory activity, it normalizes the processes of keratanization and epidermal differentiation.
The mechanism of action of adapalene is based on interaction, with specific receptors of skin epidermal cells. As a result of the action of adapalene, in particular, the "cohesion" of epithelial cells in the mouth of the sebaceous-follicle follicle decreases and the preconditions for the formation of micro-medodons decrease. Adapalene has an anti-inflammatory effect in vivo and in vitro, affecting inflammatory factors by inhibiting the migration of leukocytes in the focus of inflammation and the metabolism of arachidonic acid.
